Goals
-How to make the server  (doing it)
-Learn about mods that could help us create and improve the map. (watch some tutorials)
-See some adventure maps out there and videos with opinions on the map. (Find games, or challenges that are interesting for the player.

This link is useful because it comments on the adventure map and shows a good example of an adventure map. We can take some examples and challenges from this map and make some similar ones in our map.

How to make the server

This link is useful because it tells you step by step how to make, run and manage the basics of the server from your computer. The other alternative is paying for a hosting website.

This video tells you how to install single player commands and what you can use it for, it is very helpful to create the map for the server fast and quickly.

Today I learned how to create a server, for next time i'll find out how to do it for mac. I learned some tips in adventure map like adding parkour challenges to make it more difficult. I also learned how to install single player commands and how to use it successfully for enhacing the map.

Desmos is a website that claims to have created the next generation of the graphic calculator.
They use the motto "beautiful, powerful and free".

What Desmos does is it allows you to enter many linear equations in order to create graphs. The purpose is for easy free access to an advanced calculator for students, teachers from any browser online for free. Since many graphic calculators are really expensive it allows free access to a advanced program to everyone.

To use the site you click "Try it out"
You are then led to the advanced calculator, you can now enter linear equations in the to the graph, controlling the colors, and even adding multiple variables in an equation adjusting their value.

Students can use it for class and for any graph that they need to do in the future

Digital Nation Movie Concept Comments

I don't agree with the lady at the beginning of the movie overreacting the "It hit us" like if technology in her house was a terrible disease that shocked her.

Big Disagree:
Many people have died with more than 50 hours of gameplay with low food and water.
One can die from doing an intense activity like playing tennis 50 hours with low food and water.

Agree:
Director of the school talking about how technology is oxygen for children and how it is necessary in a classroom.

Agree: (It seems really plausible)
Talking about how technology has incredibly increased all the positive aspects in the school.

I agree that there is a wide range on distractions while using technology that can negatively affect the kids.

Facebook is adicting

Disagree: (I've seen pretty good multitaskers)
Multitaskers are always bad at multitasking.

Even though the video shows opinions on both sides most of the opinions against technology are biased
and have no actual arguement to suport it.

Technology makes you loose memory.
(I think its partially true but not always.)

Agree: It does, theres ton of things out there to explore.
Technology can open a new world for everyone.
